WAR Ministry Corporation has partnered with the New Jersey Department of Human Services’ Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) to become a Medicaid-approved provider of Supports Program and Community Care Waiver services.
Behavioral support services work to establish the behavioral supports necessary for individuals to achieve social, emotional, and behavioral success. This is accomplished through staff training and implementing effective interventions for those individuals with comprehensive behavioral and/or emotional needs.
Our Career planning services are designed to support a person’s community employment goals by gathering information on the individual’s strengths, interests and employment preference in order to help them find employment in the job market.
Community Inclusion services help individuals who are looking to enrich their daily life with education, recreation or community based activities.
Community Based Supports
Community based support services provides assistance for individuals who need direct support to achieve independence and inclusion. Services are delivered one on one by staff who assist with community based activities.
Individual Support Services are in-home community based services that transfer skills necessary to achieve and/or maintain increased independence, productivity, enhanced family functioning and inclusion in the community for young people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Respite services are designed to offer families the opportunity for a break from caregiving responsibilities on a temporary or emergency basis for intermittent or short periods of time. Respite also provides a positive experience for the youth receiving care.
Supported Employment services help individuals find an integrated job in their communities. The program goal is to provide full access to employment through the provision of individual support services for people who have historically been excluded from employment.
Transportation services provides individuals with disabilities who are unable to use regular buses or trains the opportunity navigate communities with the assistance of staff.
